On the eve of the end of the 2023-2024 academic year, the Republican Scientific Journal «QAZAQTANÝ» of the M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University published 22 issues of the journal.

This issue contains the works of scientists who worked in scientific cooperation with the Scientific Research Institute "Social Sciences and Humanities" and directly with the scientific center "History and Ethnology". No. 2 (22) 06/2024 published an article on the work of the international initial round table dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the formation of the Ulus of Jochi - "The Great Steppe during the Ulus of Jochi", held on May 17, 2024, the international scientific seminar "Topical issues of studying the history of the peoples of Central Asia at the present stage", held On June 13, 2024, among the scientists and teachers of the Central Asian states, as well as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Russia. The issue also contains a unique article on the chronology of the reign of the khans of the Golden Horde, in historical sources, the role of the great ulus of the Golden Horde in the formation of the state, the role of Alash Khan in the formation of the national spirit in the history of the Kazakhs, the importance of these sources of Abilgaza in the study of the tribes of the Ulus of Jochi, Ulus of Jochi: traditions and way of life (based on data from European travelers), the formation of the Nogai and Uzbek ethnic groups in the Golden Horde: similarities and differences of articles by foreign authors, modern assessments of the history of Central Asian countries in the study of the Soviet period: using the example of research on the Second World War, Norman diplomacy in the political process, articles of philological and pedagogical directions that bring their novelty to the research work of undergraduates and young scientists.
