This article examines the factors influencing the lives of young people in the context of globalization, modernization, and transformation, as well as the role of folk games in their upbringing. Just as each era possesses its own unique features and content, each folk game reflects the living conditions, aspirations, customs, values, and traditions of its people. It is
demonstrated that many modern mass sports have ancient roots tied to the traditions and customs of various cultures, an aspect that is revealed from an ethnographic perspective.They reflect ancient customs, social relations, elements of ideology and moral norms. The study of rituals associated with folk games from a historical and ethnological point of view allows for a deeper understanding of the culture of the Uzbek people, their ideology, traditions and customs, their genesis, transformation and innovative manifestations.
