ETHNO-POLITICAL SITUATION IN THE SOUTHERN MACRO-REGION: CRITICISMS AND PERSPECTIVES (SOUTHERN KAZAKHSTAN)

Abstract

This research paper is devoted to the analysis of the ethnopolitical situation in the Southern macroregion, with a focus on Southern Kazakhstan. The paper examines the challenges and prospects faced by the ethnopolitical situation in this region. The study is based on statistics of sociocultural and political aspects that form the ethnopolitical picture in Southern Kazakhstan.
The framework includes the study of ethnic diversity, the influence of ethnic groups on political processes, the analysis of socio-cultural dynamics and the relationship between ethnic communities. In the context of modern challenges such as migration, economic prospects and changes in the geopolitical situation, the study aims to identify trends and factors that may affect the ethnopolitical dynamics in Southern Kazakhstan. The statistics of the population of Southern Kazakhstan from the period from 1989 to 2022, by ethnic groups and regions, are presented.
