USING OF ABBREVIATIONS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE: IMPACT ON SPOKEN LANGUAGE

Abstract

This work is prepared in the characteristics of procedure of abbreviation growth and
importance in modern English language. The major aim of the research work is dedicated to differentiate
and distinguish abbreviation evolution in modern language. It is known that day by day our world is
rapidly growing and changing. It brings to any influencing, of course, to the new environment too,
especially on abbreviation procedure. Abbreviations make our life easy and comfort. However, some
overdoing may occur bad causes. The Abbreviations, the subject study, are the most common intensively
developing units of English. Consequently, there is the distinctive interest to abbreviation in modern
linguistics. Abbreviations are common in the literature of all the world. Sometimes it is unknown for
young generation. This problem can be solving for youngsters to understand and use them in any way.
Also, people in business get used many short words because economic terms tend to be too long. It is
difficult to make a list of them because there are a lot of them. The best thing is to learn them gradually.
