: Based on the analysis of archival sources and literature, an attempt is made to examine the charitable activities of the Polish Catholic community in Turkestan. The Polish diaspora in the region was formed at the end of the 19th century and was quite numerous. She led her religious life, obtained permission from the Turkestan authorities to build Catholic churches and conducted quite successful charitable activities, which intensified especially during the First World War, when refugees from Poland found themselves in the region.
