Abstract: This article provides a detailed study of the participation of young people in the Republic of Uzbekistan in modern political processes. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of key trends and factors that determine the political activity of young citizens, as well as the forms of their involvement in the socio-political life of the country. The issues of the level of political awareness and culture of young people, the influence of state youth policy, educational institutions and civil society institutions on the formation of an active civic position are revealed. In addition, the article highlights existing problems, barriers and prospects for further expansion of youth participation in the political decision-making process. The author emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach to the development of political consciousness of the younger generation, taking into account not only formal institutions, but also informal channels of socialization, such as family, media, social networks and youth associations. It is noted that the formation of a stable political identity among young people is closely related to the level of trust in the authorities, the degree of openness of the political system and the presence of real mechanisms for participation. In the context of the modernization of Uzbek society, the need to improve educational programs aimed at developing legal literacy, civic responsibility and critical thinking among young people is becoming more urgent.
