Abstract

This study is dedicated to a comparative structural analysis of prepositional-case constructions in Russian and Uzbek. The aim of the work is to identify the features of syntactic organization, semantic functions, and grammatical characteristics of these constructions within the two language systems. In Russian, prepositional-case forms are widely used to express spatial, temporal, and causal relationships, while in Uzbek, as an agglutinative language, similar functions are primarily carried out through postpositions and case affixes. The analysis compares the structures, highlights grammatical parallels and differences, and examines typical cases of interference in language learning. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of typological differences between Indo-European and Altaic languages and have practical significance for teaching Russian in Uzbek-speaking environments.
