Abstract

At the present stage of development, the countries of the world are faced with global problems such as interstate conflicts and the consequences of the pandemic, ideological contradictions, and information wars. Timely development of new strategies and policies for sustainable development is required to overcome global challenges. The education sector is a multi-level complex system, including the interaction of all interested parties. Therefore, carrying out an effective educational policy requires consistency, defining the objectives and content of education, and successful adaptation to the changing conditions of international politics. In this article, the education system is considered as a socio-political institution and the theoretical foundations of the problem are analyzed. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the current situation in the education system and the study of important issues and main directions for the implementation of state policy in the field of education.
