Abstract

One of the eras that played an important role in the history of the formation of the states of Central Asia is the period of the Golden Horde. Studying the place of this period in Kazakh history and literary cultural heritage is one of the pressing issues. In particular, a special place is given to propaganda among the scientific community of the literary heritage that influenced the formation of the Kazakh national worldview. One of such literary works is the religious and didactic work of Mahmut bin Ghali al-Bulgari al-Sarai al-Kerderi “Nahj ul-Faradis” (“Open Path to Paradise”). The article examines the place and poetics of medieval literary works in the literature of the Turkic-Muslim peoples. The literary tradition “arba’in”, widely used in the medieval written heritage, which underlies the compositional and structural structure of the work, its history, and role in the work, is also discussed.
