MYTHOLOGICAL CONSCIOUSNESS AND SYMBOLIC SIGNIFICANCE OF DANCE

The article examines how the preservation and study of national traditions and cultural
characteristics is becoming an increasingly important task nowadays. Of particular interest in this regard is the
dance culture, which is an integral part of the history, spirituality and self-awareness of the Kazakh people.
For the Kazakh people, dance is not only a means of entertainment or a form of expression of emotions, but
also a direct expression of their spiritual aspirations, cultural values and worldview.
The traditional dance practice of the Kazakh people is a variety of dance forms used in various religious,
cultural and ritual contexts, as well as their symbolic meaning and historical roots. The fact is traced that dance
rituals, passed down from generation to generation, are the main element of the cultural heritage of the Kazakhs
and represent the object of studying their spiritual reality, the symbolism and meaning of traditional dance
rituals are fully considered, taking into account the spiritual ideas and religious beliefs of the Kazakhs. The
influence of modern changes and trends on traditional dance customs and their connection with Kazakh
spirituality was assessed, which explained the role of dances in the religious and mythological rituals of the
Kazakhs and their influence on the spiritual development of the ethnic group.
