The article deals with the theoretical analysis of the physiological indicators of esports athletes. The author analyzed modern sources of knowledge in the field of esports. Based on the conducted research, the key features of the development of the field of esportswere identified. It is shown that the optimization of the process of integrating physical training with all other types of sports training is the most important tool in ensuring the competitive reliability of an esports athlete. Special attention is paid to the history of computer sports,esports has the support of major corporations that invest millions of dollars annually in the development of this sport. As for the physical training of esports athletes, for some reason, it is perceived by them only as an integral part of psychophysiological training. It is quite obvious that the level of development of physical qualities cannot be a direct indicator of the level of play of a cybersportsman.
