Abstract

The use of literary creativity in history lessons primarily contributes to the development of students' moral qualities. The article considers several effective methods of working with fiction in history teaching, the requirements for them, and the creative possibilities of the teacher. The importance of combining history teaching and fiction is discussed in more detail.Through the use of fiction, students are presented with ways to convey historical events, changes, and historical figures in a realistic and effective way.

Fiction is based on imagination as well as historical data. The teacher's task is to distinguish between real data and artistic imagination and provide students with a scientific understanding. This article discusses the possibilities of opening the way for students to perceive history not as mere facts, but as a life story, and to form national values and a sense of patriotism.
