METHODS OF WORKING WITH LITERARY CREATIVITY IN HISTORY LESSONS

Abstract

This article examines the teaching of famine-related topics in history classes through an effective combination of fiction and modern teaching methods. One of the most tragic and horrific periods in Kazakhstan's history, the famine of 1931-1933, was the result of a totalitarian system and forced collectivization policies that inflicted enormous damage on the demographic, social, and spiritual development of the Kazakh people. This article comprehensively examines effective methods for using fiction when examining the years of famine, the requirements for such methods, the creative potential of teachers and students, and a number of pedagogical values associated with using fiction. The article also discusses in more detail the importance of coordinating the teaching of history and fiction.
