This research investigates the impact of problem-based learning technologies on the professional competencies of special education students. The study involved a four-week experiment with control and experimental groups. Results showed significant improvements in the experimental group's professional competencies, including corrective and developmental work for speech disabilities, collaboration with parents, and diagnostic work with children with speech disabilities. The study highlights the effectiveness of problem-based learning in enhancing student motivation, engagement, and positive attitudes towards their profession. The paper concludes that integrating problem-based learning technologies into special education curricula can significantly enhance students' professional preparedness and equip them with essential skills for addressing the challenges of the field.
